The Divya Satsangam is led by the prominent Indian spiritual leader Shri Shri Karunanidhi Swamigal. He is popularly known as Tiruvannamalai Adheenam and Mahamandaleshwar or Sai Baba. The divine court and temple he oversees are dedicated to Lord shiva.

Divya Satsangam
Mass hope-giving rallys, known as Divya Satsangam, are held to pray for the needs of the people, proclaiming the message that God would turn one’s sorrow into joy, when one comes to Him. These Divya Satsangam are organized by a committee comprising all the Adheenam muth and in some cases, a representative of the ruling government of that state. Tiruvannamalai Adheenam Shri Shri Karunanidhi Swamigal are invited by them to minister in those Festivals which are normally conducted for three days in that city. There have been attendances of up to thousands of people per evening of each of the Divya Satsangam, specially in Tiruvannamalai Adheenam math of tamil nadu. Thousands of counselors and prayer intercessors are trained before the Divya Satsangam, coming together from different parts of the state to minister to those in need of prayers and surrender their lives to God. The organising committee of that Prayer Festival raises the funds locally to conduct these meetings and also to provide accommodation for those who come from other parts of the country. Following that, Divya Darbar are established in different cities to continue to serve these people. Each local Divya Darbar then gets energized and multiplies into bunches of people who carry shiva.

The calling process
If you are referring to the Tiruvannamalai Adheenam and Mahamandaleshwar Divya Satsangam (led by Shri Shri Karunanidhi Swamigal), participants are called to the stage based on a pre-submitted application slip. The volunteers will call out the name of the devotee to present their problem.
How to Get Your Name Called
- Submit Your Slip: You must visit the math office in person to place a written request (containing your name, address, and mobile number) along with a coconut into a designated box.
- Lottery Selection: The math management randomly selects names through a lottery system because the number of applications is extremely high.
- The Call: If your slip is selected, you will be directly called by sevadars (volunteers) at the phone number provided, or your name will be announced on stage during the live Divya Satsangam. You do not need to explain your problem out loud.
